The Big and Medium Trophies contain an American cruiser with a record-breaking missile salvo.

Historical Note

USS Bunker Hill (CG-52) was the first ship of the second series of the famous Ticonderoga-class cruisers. She was laid down and commissioned in the mid-eighties.

The ship saw her baptism of fire off the coast of the Persian Gulf, providing cover for American tankers against aerial attacks. In the early nineties, the cruiser took part in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Then in 1996, Bunker Hill was sent to monitor Chinese missile launches near Taiwan.

But it wasn't all about war. The ship also took part in peacetime missions. For example, in 2004, she was one of the first to arrive off the coast of the Indonesian province of Aceh to provide relief after a devastating tsunami. Later, the cruiser fought pirates off the coasts of Somalia and Oman. And in 2010, she was dispatched to Haiti to help deal with the aftermath of a catastrophic earthquake.

After 37 years of faithful service, Bunker Hill left the fleet in September 2023 in San Diego.

Brief Overview

Role in battle: one of the most dangerous ships in the game, capable of effectively engaging any target.

In battle

The Rank VII US fleet is about to receive a new missile cruiser – meet the USS Bunker Hill! Apart from her unusual appearance, the ship boasts a fantastic arsenal and arguably the most powerful salvo in the entire game.

The main weapon of the USS Bunker Hill is guided missiles. Each salvo includes 4 Tomahawk cruise missiles from vertical launch systems, plus 4 Harpoon anti-ship missiles. What a beast! But that's not all this new ship has to offer.

For the first time in the game, you'll see vertically launched anti-submarine guided missiles – the RUM-139. This is an upgraded version of the ASROC (familiar to veteran players) with increased damage.

For close encounters, the USS Bunker Hill deploys two rapid-fire 127 mm cannons. Such an arsenal allows the cruiser to engage any enemy at any range!

The price for that record-breaking salvo is a long reload time. During this window, you'll want to keep the ship well hidden. Her massive superstructure won't let you hide behind the tiniest rocks or icebergs – so choose your position carefully. Fortunately, this bulky-looking warship is quite agile and can easily change position during battle.

Premium version of the USS Bunker Hill (Rank VII)

In the Ship Campaign, only one ship can be taken into battle. Because of this, the Premium version of any ship is not a separate unit, but it completely replaces the standard “gray” version. After obtaining the premium version, the blueprints for the standard version of the ship will disappear from the store and trophies, and the ship itself will become unavailable in trophies and jackpots.

Differences between the Premium and Standard versions:

the ability to get gold after a battle, according to the daily limit;
unique premium camouflage;
fully unlocked upgrades in the Arsenal;
the ship gets the maximum crew level immediately.

Premium version of the vehicle:

As a jackpot or as a random reward when attempting to open the Big Trophy.
By reaching the top-10 in the relevant Leaderboard.
From the Collector's Trophy after adding the vehicle to this trophy type;

Standard version of the vehicle:

As a jackpot or as a random reward when attempting to open the Medium Trophy.
Order vehicles for Silver Lions after collecting 1,000 blueprints.

Ways to get blueprints:

From the Medium Trophy: 700 pcs in the guaranteed reward, or 10 to 100 pcs per attempt.
From the Big Trophy: 700 pcs in the guaranteed reward, or 80 to 200 pcs per attempt.
In the in-game store: purchase for Silver Lions a Folder with a number of blueprints (even after the season ends).
