From the start of the event, 15 tasks are available to you. Completing them will earn you stars to fill up the event progress bar and other rewards.

In the Aircraft Campaign, there is a reward on the progress bar that unlocks an increased discount on aircraft.

Historical Note

Ivan Nikitovich Kozhedub was born on June 8th, 1920. He made his first flight at the age of 19 in an aeroclub, and in the autumn of 1940 he graduated from a military aviation school.

At the start of his military flying career, Ivan Nikitovich nearly died. While defending an allied airfield, he engaged in combat with four Messerschmitt Bf 109s and six Bf 110s. His La-5 was hit several times, but he managed to land the plane. All of Kozhedub's subsequent combat flights were made only using Soviet Lavochkin fighters: the La-5, La-5FN, and La-7.

In 1943, on the Kursk Bulge, the future hero shot down his first enemy aircraft, a Ju 87. He is deservedly considered the most successful fighter pilot among all pilots of the anti-Hitler coalition: 330 combat missions with 64 enemy aircraft shot down.

For his incredible level of military skill, Ivan Kozhedub was awarded the Gold Star of the Hero of the Soviet Union three times. In 1985, he was awarded the highest military rank of Marshal of Aviation.
