The Big and Medium Trophies contain an Israeli heavy IFV with the best APS in the game and “fire-and-forget” ATGMs.
The Israeli Namer armored personnel carrier, built on the chassis of the Merkava Mk.IV tank, was originally developed in the 2000s as a heavily armored vehicle to replace obsolete and vulnerable M113s. The introduction of the first Namer APCs revealed the need for enhanced firepower, leading to the creation of the Namer Tsrikhon modification. The name comes from the new unmanned Tsrikhon turret fitted with a 30 mm automatic cannon, as well as an integrated active protection system.
This upgrade turned the heavy APC into a fully-fledged infantry fighting vehicle, capable not only of transporting infantry but also of providing fire support without exposing the crew to excessive risk. Currently, the Namer Tsrikhon IFV is being adopted by the Israel Defense Forces.
A hybrid of a tank, an APC, and a support vehicle for modern combat – meet the Namer Tsrikhon, the most advanced fighting vehicle in the IDF arsenal, combining cutting-edge weaponry and defensive systems focused on crew and squad protection even in the harshest combat conditions.
The Namer Tsrikhon is built on the Merkava Mk.IV tank chassis, giving the commander a heavily armored platform with a front-mounted engine, transmission compartment and composite armor, further reinforced by the Trophy active protection system to intercept incoming threats on approach. In the game, this provides a very reliable counter to anti-tank guided missiles.
The second major advantage of the Namer Tsrikhon is its armament. The unmanned turret houses a high-velocity 30mm Bushmaster 2 autocannon, capable of engaging both low-flying aircraft and lightly armored vehicles, including tanks when fired into the side. There is also guided weaponry – the Spike-LR II ATGMs with automatic guidance, already well known to experienced commanders. However, they require some distance to the target to establish their flight trajectory.
The Namer Tsrikhon is a fairly heavy vehicle, which affects its mobility – in top speed and power-to-weight ratio, this vehicle falls behind its less protected competitors. This, combined with a tendency for the engine to be knocked out by frontal hull hits, makes the vehicle better suited for defensive play rather than aggressive frontline combat.
The Namer Tsrikhon performs best on the second line, where it can outlast other similar vehicles under fire. It can support allies with both its guided missiles and cannon fire, disabling critical tank modules and shredding overly bold flanking scouts!
The Premium variant is an extra tank for your hangar! The premium tank maintains the same performance as the standard variant, though it comes in a unique camouflage.
