Season Update 1.23: “Tropic Raid”

The Major Content Update – Season 31 – for War Thunder Mobile is now in the game!

In this update, you can expect to see the following:

New aviation map: Tropical cliffs.
New feature: battle replays.
New top-rank vehicles and their blueprints in seasonal Trophies.
A new season of the long-term event with unique vehicles in the Trophies.
A new season of the Battle Pass.

*Please note that after the season starts, the map will be gradually added to the matchmaking rotation by region and may also be temporarily disabled without prior notice.

New feature – battle replays

A feature allowing players to save and replay battles is added to the game. Players are able to save their completed battles and rewatch them.

How It Works

Saving a replay is available after any battle. On the debriefing screen, click the floppy disk icon above the "To hangar" button, enter a name for the replay, and confirm to save it. An online battle can be saved regardless of its outcome.

You can find your saved recordings in the burger menu, in the "Replays" section. The replay card contains detailed information: date and time, title, game mode, location, battle result (victory, defeat, or blank in case of desertion), as well as a mini-map and the roster of both teams.

Player Functionality

The replay player supports standard viewing options, including:

Displaying team rosters.
Switching to the camera of any player from the list (by tapping).
Hiding markers, HUD elements, player nicknames, and points.
Switching between free camera and first-person view.

You can enable automatic deletion of replays from outdated versions of the game. If necessary, you can delete replays manually via the replays menu.

Season “Tropic Raid”

Complete the Tropic Raid Season combat missions, earn War Bonds and Keys as rewards and unlock trophy containers with valuable prizes for them.

In total for the Season, you can get more than 8,550 bonds for completing tasks, a welcome bonus, a free Battle Pass lineup, completing the season's task progress bar, and getting into the top 1% of the tank, ship, and aviation leaderboards. Additional bonds can be obtained from the Small Trophy by watching ads and when opening the Medium and Big Trophies, and from the Infinite Trophy in the Battle Pass.

The “Tropic Raid” season will last from March 19th to April 16th, 2026.

Seasonal vehicles: PUMA VJTF and Ariete PSO.

Medium Trophy Jackpot: standard version of PUMA VJTF or Ariete PSO.

Big Trophy Jackpot: premium version of PUMA VJTF or Ariete PSO.

Guaranteed reward: 700 blueprints for one of the seasonal tanks for 50 attempts in the Medium Trophy or 14 attempts in the Big Trophy.

The jackpot can be won at any time, but only once per trophy. Once won, the guaranteed reward for this trophy will be disabled. It is possible to win the jackpot after reaching the guaranteed reward.

Once you have obtained all seasonal vehicles before reaching the jackpot or guaranteed reward, you will receive 1,750 Golden Eagles as your guaranteed reward, instead of the Jackpot, you will receive 2 Keys from the Medium Trophy and 1,750 Golden Eagles from the Large Trophy.

Seasonal vehicles: HMS Type 22 and HNLMS Kortenaer.

Big Trophy Jackpot: premium version of HMS Type 22 or HNLMS Kortenaer.

300 bonds are awarded as a gift with the start of the Season to players after at least 5 battles in any Campaign.
Rewards for completing the tasks of the season of all three campaigns.
Rewards in the overall progress bar of the season's tasks.
Campaign ranking awards.
Battle Pass rewards.
With a chance – from the Infinite Trophy in the Battle Pass.
Reward from Small or Medium Trophies (10 to 300 items).
Season Offers and Store.

As a reward in the Season Task progress bar;
As a Battle Pass reward;
For being in the top 1% and top 10% of the ship, tank or aircraft leaderboards of the Season;
From Medium and Big Trophies (2 to 4 keys per successful opening);
As items in special event’s store;
Through Seasonal Offers and the Store.

War Bonds and Keys cannot be used in the next season. After the end of the current season, War Bonds and Keys will be automatically used to open the relevant trophies in random campaigns. If you want to get rewards from a certain campaign, you have to use the War Bonds and Keys yourself before the end of the season, until 10:00 (GMT) on April 16th 2026.

Leaderboards

To get into the campaign leaderboard, you need to fight at least 5 battles using vehicles from the relevant campaign (tank and ship take-offs don't count for access to the Aviation Campaign).

The rating season ends on April 9th, 2026 at 10:00 (GMT). Rewards will be distributed within a few days after the leaderboards are frozen. It’s important to note that rewards may be given out at different times for different leaderboards.

Battle Pass

Complete special tasks, level up your Battle Pass and receive rewards for your completed steps.

When you purchase the VIP pass, you instantly receive special camouflages for one vehicle from the trophies of each campaign, as well as automatically completing 10 steps from the Battle Pass lineup. If you have already purchased an upgraded BP, the cost of the VIP pass will be reduced.

The unique camouflages are given when you purchase a VIP pass no matter if you have a vehicle.

During season 1.23, War Thunder Mobile players can look forward to a variety of in-game activities.

Known Issues

Sometimes, the background behind the mini-map may disappear during combat.
When switching between vehicle modules in the X-ray view, the module description disappears.

The team is already working on fixing these issues. They will be resolved in one of the upcoming updates. We apologize for the inconvenience.
